A small family workshop. No showroom, no stock, and no two pieces the same.
We work only in solid blackwood — never veneer or board — using mortise-and-tenon joinery that's made to be repaired, not thrown away. Nothing is mass-produced; every piece is built to order once you've approved the design.
Because the work happens straight from the bench in Brackenfell, there's no showroom markup in the price, and you deal with the people actually making your furniture. Most commissions take four to eight weeks.
We don't offer a warranty. We'd rather build things well enough not to need one — and we're here if they ever do.
